Tottenham’s Champions League campaign so far saw Thomas Frank’s side beat Villarreal 1-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the opening gameweek of the competition thanks to an early fourth minute own goal from Luiz Junior.
And it was another own goal – this time from Jostein Gundersen a minute from time – that saw the Lillywhites salvage a 2-2 draw away at minnows Bodo Glimt on matchday 2 as they fought back from 2-0 down.

Monaco sit near the foot of the early Champions League table in 30th place out of 36 with a loss and draw from their two matches so far.
The principality outfit, who qualified for the competition after finishing third in Ligue 1 last season, went down 4-1 in their first match away at Club Brugge – Ansu Fati hitting a late consolation in the reverse. And they needed another last-gasp goal, this time from Eric Dier’s penalty, to earn a point in a 2-2 draw at home against Manchester City in gameweek 2.

Spreadex Sports has Tottenham as the 5/4 favourites for the win on the fixed odds, with Monaco 15/8 and the draw priced at 13/5.
The Spreadex 2-Up early payout market, which settles when either side takes a two goal lead, has Spurs at 23/20 and Monaco at 13/8.
The five matches played at Monaco’s Stade Louis II ground so far this season have seen 24 goals scored in total – just shy of an average of 5 goals per game. For those wanting to bet on goals in this one, Over 4.5 goals is a 16/5 shot here and Over 3.5 goals priced at 7/5.

Spurs are the favourites in Spreadex’s Goal Supremacy football spread betting market with a spread of Tottenham/Monaco (h) 0.1 – 0.3. This means a 'buy' bet at 0.3 would need Tottenham to win by at least a goal to start turning a profit (e.g. one goal win would win 0.7 x your stake, two goal win 1.7 times your stake, three goal win 2.7 times your stake etc.).
A 0.1 'sell' bet would need either a draw or Monaco win to turn a profit (e.g. draw would win 0.1 your stake, one goal Monaco win 1.1 times your stake etc.).
Our spread betting Total Goals line is 3.05 – 3.25. So a 3.25 'buy' bet would need at least four goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Oppositely, a 3.1 sell bet would need three goals or less to be scored in the match to turn a profit.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. E.g. a 3.25 'buy' Total Goals bet would lose 3.25 times your stake if the match ended 0-0. In the 0.3 'buy' Supremacy bet example above, if the game ended a draw the bet would lose 0.3 x your stake. If Monaco won by one goal then it would lose 1.3 x your stake etc. And in the 0.1 'sell' Supremacy example above, the bet would lose 0.9 x your stake on a 1-0 Tottenham win, 1.9 x your stake on a 2-0 Tottenham win etc.

As mentioned above, there have been goals galore in Monaco’s five home matches so far in all competitions – 24 in total. It’s not just Monaco home games where the net has been bulging – before the weekend trip to Angers, Sebastian Pocognoli’s side had also seen 24 goals scored in total in their five last games, home and away. To add to the mix, Tottenham have scored at least two in every one of their matches on the road so far this season.
So if you are looking to bet on goals there are plenty of options from the Spreadex spread betting markets. Total Goal Minutes is the time of all the minutes of the goals scored in the game, aggregated. The spread here is 155 – 165. Monaco’s 2-2 Champions League draw with Manchester City saw TGMs make up at 167 while Tottenham’s 2-2 draw at Bodo Glimt saw TGMs settle at 276.
The Spreadex Goal Rush market is based on 0 point being awarded for a goalless draw, 10 points if one goal is scored in total, 20 for two goals in total, 33 for three, 50 for four, 70 for five and 100 for six or more. The spread here is 37.5 – 40.5. So a buy of 40.5 would need four or more goals to be scored to start turning a profit. But if no goals were scored in the game, that 40.5 buy would lose 40.5 times your stake.
The spread for Goals Cubed is 57 – 66 so here a sell at 57 would need three goals or fewer to be scored, while a buy at 66 would need five or more goals to be scored to start turning a profit (e.g. four goals would settle at 64 but five goals would settle at 125).
Tottenham Match Goals is priced at 1.6 – 1.8 and Tottenham Total Goal Minutes is 81 - 89. Spurs TGMs in their five away matches so far this term have settled at 80 v Leeds, 157 v Bodo Glimt, 125 v Brighton, 168 v West Ham and 80 v Manchester City. So you would need the minutes of all Tottenham Goals to be at least 90 to start earning a profit from a buy at 89. If no Tottenham goals were scored in the match, then that buy would lose 89 times your stake.
