Eddie Howe's Newcastle side look to be buzzing with confidence after their hugely impressive victory over Man City in the league a couple of days ago, and in general will be very satisfied with their exploits in the Champions League thus far too, having secured three wins from their opening four fixtures.

Marseille, meanwhile, stormed to a 5-1 drubbing of Nice in their first domestic match after the international break to keep up the pressure on PSG in Ligue 1, but the side from the South of France has flattered to deceive in the Champions League so far, having lost three of their four matches.

With Marseille also failing to win any of their last 12 fixtures again British opposition, will that nightmare run continue - or finally end here?
