Burnley find themselves firmly embroiled in the relegation battle as we approach the mid-way point of the Premier League season. The Clarets have lost their last five league games and are in dire need of points this Saturday, currently sat 19th in the league. Scott Parker’s side have conceded 30 goals in 15 games, and will need a steady defensive performance if they are to get anything out of this weekend’s fixture.

Fulham also find themselves towards the bottom of the Premier League table, and will need to pick up points on Saturday to stay clear of the relegation fight. Marco Silva’s side have had some unfortunate results recently, losing a close match to Crystal Palace most recently, and a nine-goal thriller to Man City the week before. Can they find some form this weekend?

Hosts Burnley come into this game as underdogs. Without a home win in almost two months, the Clarets are currently priced at 14/5 to win the match, or 13/5 in our 2-Up Early Payout market, which pays out if your team goes two goals up at any time during the game.
Fulham head to Turf Moor as favourites, at 10/11 to win the game, or 87/100 in our 2 Up market. You can also back a draw at 5/2. Despite being favourites here, Fulham’s recent record against Burnley is less than spectacular. The Cottagers have lost four of the last six encounters between the two sides and haven’t beaten Burnley since 2018. Will their fortunes change on Saturday?

We also offer a number of spread betting markets for Saturday’s clash, including our “Goal Supremacy” market. This market currently has Fulham favoured by 0.45-0.65 goals. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need Burnley to win to start turning a profit. A one-goal victory for Burnley would win you 0.35 times your stake, a two-goal win 1.35 times your stake, and so on.
However, if you bought and Burnley drew or lost the game, you would lose money. Here, a one-goal loss would cost you 1.65 times your stake, a two-goal loss 2.65 times your stake, etc.
You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This is currently set at 2.5-2.7. If you’re expecting plenty of goalmouth action, you would “buy” and would need at least three total goals to turn a profit. Alternatively, if you expect a low-scoring affair, as has usually been the case for the hosts this season, you could “sell” and would need two goals or fewer to turn a profit.
If you sold and the game ended 1-0, as it did the last time the sides met, you would win 1.5 times your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended as a 4-2 thriller, you would lose 3.5 times your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.

Fulham have already played the other two promoted sides this season, beating both 1-0. If you expect a similar result on Saturday, you can back Fulham to win 1-0 at 6/1. Burnley’s last win in the Premier League required a stoppage time goal to secure the three points. If you’re expecting more late action, our Last Match Goal spread is set at 62-65 minutes.
